Sagadahoc Surprise!

MYBC is going to do something a little different for a change. We are going to Sagadahoc County and will explore Reid State Park and surrounding areas looking for winter(ish) sea birds and raptors etc. Not going to lie… Part of our motivation was that the Stellar’s Sea Eagle was recently relocated near this area, so that may have something to do with it. We may head to nearby Morse Mtn. or Popham Beach to explore that area as well. It should be an exciting event!

LOGISTICS:  Dress in layers (it can/will be cold windy out on the ocean) and wear walking shoes or boots.  Bring the following: a bagged lunch, bug spray, sunblock, a hat, sunglasses, binoculars, camera (optional), and notebook (optional).  If you do not have binoculars, MYBC will provide you with a pair. Masks will be required for situations where we are in close contact. If you do not have a mask, MYBC will provide one for you.

Meet us at 8:00 am at the Reid State Park entrance (see location tab).. Pick up your child at around 12:00 pm at the same location
